Ilka & Jhunz ♥ April 09, 2016 |
Many people come to me asking me if I could be their photographer and at often time I would always say no. Because I have no confidence in my skills yet and because I only own a humble Canon 1100D with 50mm lens. So, this article isn't about my photography style. It's about my post-processing style. After attending a photo-editing class last July 2014, my confidence rose a little bit higher.
My close friend borrowed my Canon 50mm lens to use for shooting her cousin's Prenuptial photos. Normally, I wouldn't hand my baby to just anyone but since we've been friends for nine (9) years, I trust her completely. Let's cut the words and go directly to the photos! I also put the before and after shots after the Prenuptial photos. Please do note that I did NOT post all of their photos.
Photography: Kim Blanco
Post-processing: Edjellen Faith Habon (me)
Camera Lens: Canon 50mm f1.8
Tools used: Lightroom 4.0, Adobe Photoshop CS6
Now, for the before and after part.
The couple in the photo below looked more lively and happier, isn't it? |
Sun flares are effective to create drama. |
Use sun flare effectively to highlight important details. In this picture, it is the romantic look that the future groom is giving his future bride. |
One can never go wrong with a sunset photo. |
Give credit where credit is due. Some of my Lightroom Presets are taken online. Most of them are from Matt Kloskowski. His website has been a great help in learning stuff about not just Lightroom, but photography in general. Thank you, Matt!
